I have heard that there can be problems with Save sizes on the DS ONE.

Is this still the case?  How do I tell the save size for a game, or is this automatic now?

Thanks

Mike

Dudu.exe

You can set a default save size for all games not listed on supercard database.. ou cange it one by one in Info window if you prefer

Just keep in mind that the PH release list is off by one from most other lists because they have different policies, so they include a dump of the Max Media Launcher when most other lists omit it.  If you search by name though, this won't affect you.

Thanks for your help, makes it a lot clearer.

I use the Advanscene list, with offline list.  and that gives me most of the info I need.

Pitty it's not as easy to use as the slot 2 cards, in that respect.  At least you dont have to patch most of them though.

Thanks Again

Yes, save on DS ONE is a problem, especially if you using cheat on Pokemon Diamond and Final Fantasy III, cannot save at all :(

you can turn the cheats on and off, wouldn't that help ?

yes, but it has to disable patch (on main window).  If you enable cheat on, you have to enable patch too. That means you cannot cheat at all if you want to save your game progress.

sorry it a little hard to understand whats up...

just run them in super mode, but remember the pokemon save file needs to be 512k, so just replace the one the client produces with a 512kb one, if like the slot2's the client produces an incorrect 256kb one. As for FF3 i know on the slot-2 the game has trouble initialing the save file at start up with cheats enabled, but it's very easy to get round by waiting till your in the game properly then enable the cheats.

OK, here my problem is:

The problem is most of games I try (ex: Final Fantasy, Pokemon Diamon, Super Robot Taisen W, etc.), the save game cannot recorded. I'm using cheat and guidebook as well on that game. The save always come back to my previous save file (or if new game, the save that i record always back to new game). When I disable the cheat (the patcher on main window in DS ONE (L+X will open it)), the save can save the record perfectly. The thing is when i used to play on my supercard lite with cheat, the problem did not happen. I already format my microSD (many times), but the problem still there. I already use the latest firmware for my DS ONE (SuperCard DS ONE OS 2.0 SP2 (0608)). So, what should i do to keep playing with the cheat but also can save the record the game that I play? Is it still bugs that Supercard DS ONE still not fixed yet? I need solution for this problem. Thank you.

I just copy and paste from my thread. I already tired to post, and seems lots of people have same problems too, and theres still no solution of it.

PS: I already changed my microSD from Transcend to Kingston. The size of my microSD are same, 2GB but still have same problem. I don't think the problem is the save because if I dont use the cheat, the save is working fine. I guess something wrong with the patch. I already edit the saver size too, but still no luck. And I wondering about this software (SOFTWARE(Super Mode needed only): Super Mode software for SC DS(ONE) 2.58) whether i should use it, because i remember that is dont need convert the ROM for NDS ONE to play. That software will be convert the ROM right? I dont download it because I already have v2.60 for my SuperCard Lite. If I install it on my pc, it will replace the SuperCard software on my pc.
