Post any news you hear during this years E3 in this thread. E3 2007 kicks off tomorrow, and here is the line up for the 3 major conferences:

Microsoft E3 Press Conference starts Tuesday at 8:30pm (Pacific TimeZone)

Nintendo E3 Press Conference starts Wednesday at 9:00am (Pacific TimeZone)

Sony E3 Press Conference starts Wednesday at 11:30am (Pacific TimeZone)

The rumor is that Microsoft is going to announce a price cut tomorrow as a response to the PS3 price cut that took effect today. If true then the $299 Core pack will drop to $249; the $399 Premium pack will drop to $349; and the recently released $479 Elite model will drop to $399.

Could Nintendo be next? Not likely. Sony is droping the price of the PS3 only 8 months after launch out of desperation. Microsoft has had 1 and 1/2 years to get the production cost of the 360 down so a price cut is not going to hurt there bottom line. Nintendo also has only been on the market 8 months and they have already sold almost as many Wii's as M$ has sold 360's with no sign of slowing down anytime soon so I think Nintendo will keep the same price tag until at least next summer, but who knows.

Microsoft has announced a new Banjo Kazooie!

They also showed GTA 4, Halo 3, COD 4, SplinterCell 5 (or is it 6 or 7 or 8...) Ace Combat 6, Devil May Cry 4, Madden 2008, Resident Evil 5, PGR 4, Fallout 3, Guitar Hero 3, Virtua Fighter 5, another Star Wars game, another Katamari game, WHERE ARE SOME ORIGINAL GAMES???

Nintendo announced the Wii Zapper. A wiimote 2 handed zapper that will work with Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicals and pretty much all fps games from now on.

Brain Age 2 comes out August 20th for DS.

Mario Galaxay comes out Nov 12th THIS YEAR.

Super Smash Brothers comes out 12-03-2007

Metorid 3 for Wii comes out August 27th

Online Mario Kart for Wii 1st quarter 2008 and will come with a new Wii Wheel case for free.

Wiifit announced. A Wii workout program. Uses a new Wii pad thing (called the Wii balance board) that you stand on. Not like a dance pad but a hard plastic sensor type pad that looks like a weight scale and it will also weigh you as well as measure your balance.

Sony announced a new PSP thats thinner and lighter (looks the same) but added a tv out out for it. You can now watch movies and play games thats on your psp out to your tv. NO HARD DRIVE

New PSP will now also come in a silver color and include the game Daxter, a 1 gig memory stick, and family guy umd movie for $200 bucks.

A Star Wars version of the PSP thats White and has Darth Vader on the back and comes with a new Star Wars Battle Front game. Still $200 bucks.

Sony Home launches in the fall. Can send pics from your cell phone and send pics to your Home world. Can launch PS3 games from inside the Home world and play against other in your home world.

MGS4 in early 2008 and still a PS3 exclusive.

I think I'll buy a PSP slim once the firmware it comes with is cracked.  To watch movies on.  I said movies, not UMDs.
