Hi,

New to the site and would like to say thanks for the great info posted. You have all been a great help in helping me get up and running on my supercard.

One question I do have, are you able to rename a ROM? i.e if you get jdw-dfe.nds after patching. Can I rename it to homebrewgame.nds and it will work. The reason I ask is when I turn on my ds I get the actual file names, which makes things hard when navigating. Thanks.

Welcome to the site, glad to have you. Yes you can rename files before putting them on the DS, I do it all the time to clean up the file names.

Cheers Guys.
Just got the card today so I'm playing around with it at the moment. Can I mix GBA roms with DS? And do I need to remove superpass to play a gba rom. The reason I ask is I just put p/saphire on the sd card but the screen freezes on the GBA home screen when I try to load.

DeVS

You can mix GBA with DS and you can leave the Superpass in while playing GBA games.

I must have converted wrong? Do you need to select anything special when you put the rom into the supercard software? I'm using the latest version using a SD card. I did try searching forum but was unable to find any detail.

DeVS

Double click on the rom once it is loaded in the rom patcher to get the properties screen. Choose SD for both options since your using an SD card. Then choose the Option tab and check the box for real time save.

Thanks, but that option you quoted is ok for .nds files. However the options I get for a .gba file is totally different so I'm not sure what to select in the patching software?
