had a go with a couple of listed games that I already had on my MEM card ...

MARIO KART - FAIL

42 ALL TIME CLASSICS  -  FAIL

DIDDY KONG RACING  - FAIL

SUPER MONKEYBALL TOUCH AND ROLL   - FAIL

kinda getting a pattern here that they are all failing!

dont be too sure retested .. outta curiosity without trimming the roms automatically with r4 commander and guess what MARIO KART DS worked!!!

retesting above mentioned others but gunna guess if you trim your roms then download play gets broken

This shouldn't be too surprising.  I thought it was pretty well-established that trimmed ROMs can sometimes cause issues with network play in general (WFC, local, download).

Ok ok I retract it.  Although, I find trimming very valuable since I only have 1GB of memory
