so i was just wondering, what are some good new ds homebrew? i saw just saw a bunch of neat stuff on dcemu that i might try out. What are the best ds game homebrew? i know of warcraft towers defence, blubb 3d, lemmings ds, and some wifi tetris attack clone. Which is the best online browser for general use and for email? And for those so inclined, feel free to mention your favorite homebrew games/apps.

moonshell is great.... great for taking a movie/audiobook/ebook on holiday etc...or just general use

Geowars is pretty fun

Hi

DSorganise.

Someone really needs to write a DPG plugin, it's nearly the only thing DSorganise lacks in the face of moonshell.

Word Up! is cool if you are into puzzle games. I find ports to DS very interesting and always keep the latest versions of Wolf3D, Heretic, Hexen, Doom, Quake, Descent, Duke3D, and ScummVM working on my SCCF 4GB memoy card. Some of these ports work better than than others. A few haven't been updated to support DLDI so they only work with old slot 2 Supercards.

NDSmail works pretty well as an email client, but I don't use it much. DS Hobro is an interesting concept for a homebrew web browser because it uses PC software/server and IE to do the work of rendering web pages. The software running on the DS side works more like Remote Desktop or VNC client. This technique keeps the amount of processing overhead to a minimum on the DS side and requires less DS RAM to process complex web pages. DS Hobro needs more work but has potential. For now the Nintendo DS Browser is the best solution for web browsing, albeit slow.
