Hi I have a Supercard SD and recently newer games I've tried to patch seem not to work or are very slow, anyone know why this could be?

Diddy Kong Racing: White Screen
More Brain Train: White Screen
Metroid Prime: Very Slow
Worms - Open Warfare 2: White Screen

are you using the newest fireware & patcher?????
with Worms - Open Warfare 2 theres a fix here http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=11378.0

EDIT
fixed link :-[

as above only games so far to have issues are WORMS OPEN WARFARE 2 and SIMPLE DS SERIES 21 but both are kinda fixable with the ARM7 patch :)

didi kong racing not working tells me that maby you need a patcher update and firmware update you need PATCHER 2.61 and firmware 1.81 :)  (1.82 if its a rumble card)  :)

most games on SD slot 2 cards work with just basic settings of RESTART ON and  COMPATABILITY set to HIGH :)

I have an ARM7 patched version of worms open warefare 2, but I just get black screens (instead of the whit screens I get with the unpatched version). What is the fix for this (if there is one)?

(I'm using super card 2.61. SC miniSD latest firmware)

as elsewhere on the forum until there is a fixed patcher or database update some sc owners are stuck at the minute ... altho it does work with some setups with sc and not others  :(

These games definitely work with my Supercard SD . . .

Diddy Kong Racing: White Screen
More Brain Train: White Screen
Metroid Prime: Very Slow

Make sure you have the latest patcher software. Make sure you double click on your ROMs in the Supercard patcher software list. Use this list for best patching options . . .

Note Worms - Open WarFare 2 currently does not work with slot 2 Supercards.

Whooo sweet list. Yep got them working, I only had v2.60 of the software and I kept the restart on so that was the reason.

Ye my card is a bit slow, not formatted properly due to my reader. It set it as 1Gb when its actuality 2Gb.

Thanks for the help  ;D .

Also make sure your card is formatted to FAT(FAT16) not FAT32. With the 2gig sd, you cannot fill it all in one directory, so for my daughter i put two folders ~ something like 0000-0700 and another folder named 0701-1400.

Wha what do you mean? When I format the card to fat 16 the card shows as half full even when theres nothing on it. I also have to separate folders, Games and Moonshell for music in one and games in the other.

can you format your memory card at a friends house to see if it solves the half full issue? This would prove or disprove that your reader is crapping out.

There is a file limitation with FAT, i remember trying to put 2gig of roms in the root directory and had to seperate out as it would never go past something like 1.34gig. It always got an error, then i learned that you could not have that many files in one directory. So i split em up like i said in the previous post. ..Just googled max files in fat folder and the answer is 512. So you cannot have more than 512 per folder with FAT16.

best way I have found of organising files is for roms at least is to have the GAME,SAVE and cheat file in its own folder eg  (game1.nds game1.sav game1.scc in a folder called game1)  ... yes seems like more work but its great if you wanna just delete 1 game later on you just delete or move that 1 folder  :)
