there was no moonshl ini, in moonshell folder wer can i find it  :(

I just dl'd both sc sd and the moonshl.ini is in the moonshl folder.

I think i might know what is going on, do you have your pc set up to 'not to show system files and folders' or 'hide protected operating system files' ? Where cant you see the moonshl.ini, from the zip or on you SD card, or both?

voldo

well i notice after i create a patcher thers a note pad apears in dpg tools folder but its not moonshl ini

onekelly

Ahh, you are making your own. OK, in the top left corner, there is a box with a title of 'configuration files', you must have the 'moonshell.ini is not copied' checked (see picture in tutorial). You need to have the 2nd or 3rd one checked (which are simple or full are copied). This should solve your issue.

Let me know.

You can change themes pretty easily by changing the .bmps. I have never used an action replay, so i cannot say on that issue. The size is 256x192 for each bmp.

BTW, Welcome to scdev.

No problem, hope it works out for you! Molerat, which type of cart are you using?

I use an r4 :D i actually had the older versions and when i tried the 1.71 it said that it couldn't find the menu.dat. do i need to download something else?

onekelly

Unfortunately molerat, i do not have an r4, and do not know how to answer this question. Hopefully one of our other members will answer this question.
