Strange behaviour in Supercard SD and FFXII RW Saves

Something very strange is happening with my Supercard SD and the saves in Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings. The game is saving normally and the savefile has 512KB. But when I open the file in an Hex Editor (I tried 2 already) the file is totally filled with hex code FFFF, as if it was empty. I scaned the entire file many times and all of it has FFFF in it.

Well, you might think "the save is still working, live with it", but the problem is, I bought an R4DS and I can't convert the savefile because everytime I do that I lose my savegames.

I believe that, if the Hex editor is reading the file as full of FFFF, then the converter is thinking the file is empty and erasing all its contents before converting.

This ONLY happens in the FFXII RW save, all other games read and convert perfectly. FFXII RW is the only game that is keeping me from selling my Supercard SD.
