I seem to be having a problem with my SD SuperCard. When I load up a game it goes through the loading process, but after that, it goes to the white screen and nothing happens afterwards. It just stares at me like an empty soul, and the game itself doesn't start.

Is there something I'm missing? If so, please help, I'm completely clueless here. This problem applies on my DS Lite and GBA SP. None of them will load.

are you using the supercard software to patch the game rom ?

Mikau, Welcome to scdev!

First off, which firmware are  you using for your SCSD? Also is your SD card formatted to FAT (FAT16)? If not, it needs to be FAT, FAT32 does not work well with the scsd.

The rom patching software, which version are you using?

You will most likely solve all  your issues by updating your cards firmware to the latest and the patching software to the latest and making sure your card is FAT16 (FAT).

let us know what solved it for you.

SuperCard software? I don't think I am. Can you link me to it?

http://eng.supercard.cn has the downloads in the "soft" section.  Grab the updated firmware while you're at it.  Place the firmware file on your card and launch it to upgrade your firmware.  The patcher software should be installed on your PC.  Then open the patcher and run your games through it.  Be sure not to output directly to the memory card, as this is known to cause problems.  Double-clicking on the game name will show you the advanced options, and there should be a guide somewhere that describes what each option does.

So, after Dantheman sent me on my way to download the latest firmware for my SuperCard SD and the software for SuperCard, I have a few questions here...

1. FAT16: So I simply format my memory card and obtain this file, or is there a download somewhere?
2. Some of the files have a Fail patch, is it possible to fix it?
3. Loading is still not possible, what am I doing wrong?

1.Reformatting your card is fairly easy. You put card in your pc sd card reader and right click on it, in my computer, and choose 'Format' what about half way down on the menu. Format it FAT (FAT16) then you are good to go!

For supercard software, here is an outdated but full of useful info guide http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=11110.0 it is attached to the last post i made. it is called 5th's_SuperCard_Guide_v1.1.pdf. It can answer many questions about the patching software (except cheats and text). Read it and let me know if it helped.

It's not a file.  It's the actual format of your card and stands for "File Allocation Table".  Follow onekelly's instructions here.
Quote2. Some of the files have a Fail patch, is it possible to fix it?
I don't use my Supercard for GBA gaming, so I'm not entirely sure, but you can try it and see if it works.
Quote3. Loading is still not possible, what am I doing wrong?
You're using the output files from "C:\Program Files\SC\out" right?

Also, hold L+R upon startup, press A a few times, and tell us if you get any negative test results other than the standard "not find test file" one.
