Waninkoko has released v1.1 of his WAD uninstaller. This uninstaller will remove all traces of wad files you install on your Wii such as homebrew channels (or any channel), VC games (pirates rejoice), homebrew apps, ect. Here is the read me and a link to his official release:

QuoteNew in v1.1:

-- If there is some directory inside the folder "wad", is ignored.
-- Support for control of GC (for those who do not operate the reset button).

What it does:

This application uninstalled completely (tickets and content) of the Wii titles (ie applications, channels ... VC) specified.

How To Use:

1. Create a folder at the root of the SD card which is called "wad".
2. Meter WAD of the applications we want to uninstall.
3. Run the application.

OK i read the instructions but i get an error.

Do you have to rename the wad-uninstaller.dol wad-uninstaller.elf to something else. Do you need to put both of these files on the sd card? i see an error that says cannot find boot.elf

what gives?

EDIT: just needed to rename the wad-uninstaller.elf to boot.elf. All is good now

Daft question, but I have been getting rid of these with the channel remover- what's the difference?

Thanks

Hi

Just passing around information to those that don't know- there is also a channel version of this. (With a banner)
