Cory: Since flashme doesn't overwrite all of the firmware, but just alters it... I'm sure the DS mac address is in tact.

Or I could be very wrong though and then we could be in some serious doodoo till someone figures out a way to generate new mac addresses for people.

use the firmware explorer that ratx mentioned to find your MAC address.

Its an actual proper NDS file... so you need to append it to ndsloader.bin - remember SC .nds files are actually ds.gba. You can use my dslazy tool to do this if you're not handy using the cmd line.

yes. it replaces the need for anything but an internet connection and a usb capable computer.

Well, from what I hear... you have to order the adapter from nintendo's online site. You can't just buy it in stores. Though they plan on releasing it in stores at a later date.

That suck man....I was hoping to pick up the game and adapter at the same time. Well guess I'll head back to ebay :?

it does, why the hell would nintendo do that? not everyone has wireless net (including me). Any idea how long it'll be before they release it.

PS i didn't see it at the nintendo stores site.

They won't have it on their store site till the wifi games are released.

Who knows why nintendo is doing it. It's the same reason why they only sold the gamecube component out on their website. Same reason they only sold play yan on their japanese website.

It's not like the nintendo wifi adapter is your only choice. Nintendo had a pretty good compatibility list available, and I'm sure a great deal more of them would be supported as well. I picked up my 802.11b wireless access point for something like $15 on ebay.

ah i didn't even think of that.. :oops: i figured it was nintendo and it was designed to work with nintendo. so anything other then that was out of the question. Is there a compatiblity list floating around i can have a lookie at?
