I'm satisfied with my supercard. I dont really care about GBA support, it plays most of the games I wanted, and besides with all the good DS titles out there, there isnt much time left to play gba games. For the money and DS support the supercard does just fine.

I will be more satisfied if I can both play single and multi on Tetris DS

i like the supercard, but seems the team isn't putting enough work on updates (aka "we've already sold what we could, it's ok for us")

How could you say that, I think people should stop  whining about GBA support. It's cheap hardware that stops it from functioning right. It's not something that can be fixed with a new gamedata file or firmware.

When the ds support was first released romman had an update every month.
The supercard overtook the M3 at rom compatibility at one point.

If you say updates aren't being released now, I would like to ask you what do you want to have fixed.
All games are compatible, except a japanese version of mahjong, but come on.

Everything works, so why would you want an update?

Not quite. Resident Evil and Tetris DS has problems to begin with..
Also more GBA support is needed. I think instead of releasing a huge update in a few months, they should release small updates in weeks.. That way it can be up to date much better..

I don't see that helping anything? People are going ot be pissed off if they release one fix a week to one game - if it fixed the whitescreen on Resident Evil half of the people who complain would start screaming for Tetris to be fixed. Most gaems are playable at least so if you don't like waiting buy an M3.

filozof

Ok I'm not saying every week but Its been more than 2 months already and there is no single update. There should be an update AT LEAST once a month.. I like my SC a lot but why wouldn't I like it more ?

People need to put work into it - you have no idea how easy or difficult it could be to fix these issues in the games. For all you know they could be completely rewriting the firmware and software - give them a break. They'll give you an update eventually. ;)

stupid2ass

Very satisfied.
The M3 is too large to carry around consistently.  I wish they'd shrink it (the micro SD M3 don't count) and then the M3 would be the superior device.  Until then, I carry my SC SD version around a whole lot more.

I know I'm giving them a break, what else I can do.. I just hope they fix those games then there will be no problem. Actually it is quite impressive how SC is compatible with all those new games with a 2 month old patcher and firmware..

Well there is Mini-M3 SD which is slightly smaller than SC..(do you count that ? Its not a SC with Mini-SD cart support its a regular M3 SD with a smaller size..)

micro?>
there is a mini sd but not a micro...
the mini sd is comming out this week and im getting it...
goodbye supercard...

fairly satisfied.

+ price
+ was expecting worse gba compatibility
+ videos work surprisingly well
+ any battery shortening effects havent been enough to interfere with my playing habits

- gba slowdown is beginning to kill me (dont own a nds)
- draconian save scheme for standard game saving (wtf, saver, more saver, save patch?!  qpc!!? rrrg :x )
- have to copy/rename nes.sav for each nes rom... massive pain.

the slowdown and save scheme are the major problems here.  metroid zero mission is great until you get into a room with more than 2 enemies in it anywhere, they dont have to be on screen.  super mario advance 2 would be fantastic if i didnt panic every time i save, power down, power up, go to saver, save smw.sav to sd, but wait, i had previous saves, now it says no save data, oh well, here's hoping.  however, i was absolutely floored at how good my red vs blue videos looked, even after massive compression.  nes emulates quite well, but is not without its glitches.

i would give it a 7/10.
recommended?  depends on the end-user.
do i ever stop playing it now?  nah, im probably going to get fired cause of this little thing
