Ive been rather happy with updates and overall performance of the supercard. for all that complain about the supercard simply buy a m3 at 100us and quit complaining

I'm planing to buy SuperCard miniSD which will finally have battery-powered SRAM, no more stupid GBA patching. So I think it will simply rock. Or better said - I hope

Havin a battery backup systems it means that GBA games won't need to be patched in order to save, therefore those difficult games that didn't particulary like the patching software should indeed work better.
I would get one of those babies right away, the problem is I have 5 GB worth of SD cards laying around(each one of them being more expencive then the SC itself), the most expencive one being a sandisk ultra II 2GB, and I don't feel like spending more money on mini SD.
If this thing would work on regular SD cards ( which honestly I think they are small enough for me) I would buy it right now,but as it is, I am still 100% happy with my current SC for NDS stuff, and 70% happy for GBA functionality.

Does the new miniSD have better GBA support then? If it does then I think ill get that instead of converting to M3

I'm pretty happy with mine. The M3 is obviously better, and I would love to have some of the features it has, but the Supercard does the job well enough and I like the price.

I have a SuperCard miniSD version.
Had 2 problems with it:

- My SanDisk miniSD wouldn't work on it after a few days of use...I replaced the miniSD used with the SuperCard with an Dane-Elec memory card and it seems to work for now...

- Today I had an problem concerning my saves for Castlevania (GBA) beeing totally lost! (I only played one game constantly with saving, the others I did not play long enough to use the save option). Fortunately I did an real time save the last time I played the game so I could recall my last position through real time loading.

My guess is, that the saves of other games would also be lost (corrupt?), would I have played other games and saved it. I say this because starting up my DS gave a real messed up screen (purple, white, pink, red noise) ... forcing me to reboot...and only after starting up castlevania I saw my saves were gone!!

But it seems to work fine now, I hope this never happens to anyone else…!

:D   I have the Supercard CF, Superpass, and regular old DS.  The only problem I can see is gba/ds rom compatibility; which they are always updating and fixing so it really isn't a problem so, yes, I'm satisfied.  Also, you can't beat the price.
