i dont' know for certain, but ever since I got VERY careful with my watering (i mean, damn near Obsessive/Compulsive), in terms of aiming, and watering several shots in a row, i have a nearly 100% success rate in my trees growing fully.  If you visit sappton and see how MANY fruit trees there are, you'll realize how remarkable the near 100% rate is... because i have only fruit trees, and a few pine.. no normal deciduous trees.

This brings me to a second theory...  soil fertility.

a large part of my gardening method was chopping down normal trees, and planting fruit where the stumps had been.  so maybe.. just maybe.. the spots where trees were already growing are somehow more fertile, and this is why i had 100% success.  who knows..

The only reason its not 100% is that a couple of coconut trees i planted down at the water (3 out of about 13) did not grow... so maybe the soil was less fertile (there were no previously-growing trees there), or maybe coconuts are more troublesome, or maybe i just got hasty..

im haveing a goog gorw rate.. almost 80% .. i have lot of peaches ans pearls  now.,. and the number gorws every time tye gimme more fruits =]

I read on other boards that watering trees has no effect on the tree's success growth.

The following is the stuff I know that will kill a seedling:
Putting a tree adjacent to another will result in a dead tree, or a building/house/post.
Running a seedling over...

am i the only one having considerable difficulty connecting to WFC today?  not difficulty finding the WFC service, but difficulty visiting people.. getting error "for some strange reason, you cannot go out right now"

after selecting the town i want to visit.

strange.. i have the official nintendo usb adapter, so it's not my equipment.

anyway, was trying to visit you, satanduck.. to let you know that i left some fruit somewhere in your town (i sent you a letter about it)... you were AFK at the time, and i just wanted to let you know, so you could plant or take it in your house, before people just take it.  check your mailbox!  

Unfortunately not everyone is as polite as we would hope.  some people just take without asking, or they offer their unwanted items in exchange for hard earned items.. heh.. I just have to assume that there are some users who are much younger than myself, or something.  All are welcome to pick fruit, but let's abide by an 'honour system' and help each other out in return!

What is the error code you're getting? If you are getting 86420 that means it's usually the Nintendo's server problem, not yours.
