It seems that everyone who connects to WFC today and has downloadable letters on will get a "coin" in the mail from S. Iwata.

is there any way to change the time in the game?? i started at 3 in the moarning and ran through the set upi so during the day im always at night and cant do anything

Hi,

I cant access the wifi screens in A/C.

All I get when I choose 'connect to WFC' is 2 black screens.

Im using patcher 2.51

Any ideas anyone?

Try reading any of the million other threads on this or doing a search.

Never mind... you probably won't try, then say you tried but didn't find anything... so I'll just save us both some time... You have to setup the wifi connections with a different game (like Mario Kart or Tony Hawk) then just talk to the dogs at the top of the map AFTER you've completed the tasks set out by tom nook.

Yes you are quite correct, I did do a search - why dont you search for 'animal crossing wifi' and see how quickly you can turn up the information.

After scouring many pages I decided to post.

Now considering this is a help forum where people in the community help each other out, I didnt think this would be a problem.

Furthermore, considering there are people like you who are perfectly willing to place over 1000 posts in little over 3 months. I didnt see that one more post from you would hurt.

Here's one for you - If you dont like posting, then dont post.

Do something else with your time. By my calculations youve hammering out over 30 posts per day. And yet you moan at the fact ive asked for help?

This is what we call a "Trolling post". The purpose of it is solely to annoy or offend other posters.

And if you had searched for "animal crossing wifi setup" with the mode set to "search for all terms" you would have found THREE results, all of which address your issue.

You fail at the searching.

isn't this a bit useless, because you can post your friend code but then you still need to know who will add you as you need the codes of the others too... AND you have to really correspond about when someone is online. So it seems just posting your FC isn't very effective.

Instead I've found animalcrossingcommunity.com VERY useful because of the FC-system. You request someone's FC and when they accept it (because of this system you can be quite certain the person you request from will add you too) you just add them to your buddy-list. Anytime someone from your buddy-list is online you'll know. So I'd recommend this more than just posting Friend Codes.

DS Gamers are getting locked out of Animal Crossing online as hackers get hold of the person's information and keep the unwitting player in Offline mode.

Unscrupulous hackers are managing to lock Animal Crossing: Wild World gamers out of their own virtual villages.

The Nintendo DS game, which was released in the US last year, allows gamers to invite three friends to hang out in their village through the magic of the handheld's WiFi capability, but this can only happen if the DS users are all registered on one another's friends list.

But unsuspecting Animal Crossing fans who have revealed their details on websites have fallen prey to hackers who have managed to remove the gates of any villages they visit. This has left gamers trapped offline if they have saved after the hack has taken place.

Fortunately, any changes the hackers implement can be rectified with use of an Action Replay cartridge, but this hacking demonstrates how cautious DS users should be with their friends list.

Animal Crossing: Wild World will be released for DS in the UK on 31 March
