my supercard stopped to function suddenly and it is untied balancing inside the carcass :(
had it happened with somebody here?
I tried to arrest it inside with a paper, but ds continues not recognizing the supercard :(
it seems to be a bad contact but it doesnt work of any manner
what can I make to try to save my supercard?

sorry my english

thanks in advance

It probably shorted with the ds, because of the SC contacts not being held in place.

I suppose it's better than a broken ds though.

most likely, well take the oppurtunitie to get a new supercard, like the supercard lite. or if you have a phat ds get the supercard minisd.

ill buy another, but i wont remove it from ds never more

i used it on a gbasp and it got stucked, i forced and after that it stops working

it worked one more time after that on my ds but never more now :(

its fragile

the new supercard minisd is super sturdy, your not going to break that at all just by pulling it in and out. sice the new supercards are being built with better and harder plastic. also you wont even have to take out the supercard minisd, since the mini sd card goes on top of it.

No offense to your English, but I had to chuckle at "it is untied balancing inside the carcass."

A carcass is a dead animal body.  Untied balancing is...well that makes no sense whatsoever.  This must be a Google translation.

I expect the sc board must have a fuse, if you know any one good with eletronics to have a look, it's probaly easily fixed.

But then again a new one doesn't cost too much.

is it gone for good ?

If it's the CF version then take a very close look at the pins in the CF slot.

Rodrigo

one is smaller (or got sink) and a few bigger than the most ones

but if it were that, it would work and message "CF not found", wouldnt it?

i opened the card and aparently nothing is damaged.

Something like that happened to me a little while ago, the DS wouldn't recognise the SC. I jiggled it around a bit and it worked.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

It depends on the CF pin in question.  Do any of your CF pins look pushed in?  Are any of the pins touching other pins?  Do you see a hairline crack in the PCB?
