FifthE1ement

Thats right there is no battery, I mean why would it need one now the direct boot generation3 passcards are out.
Yes I'm mad

meangreenie

Some one just stated on another forum that the SC-lite patcher adds 20MB to the castlevania rom !! It can't be true can it ?
Yes I'm mad

ratx

Nope - he/she probally forgot to trim it, patches here to 48m as usual and yes the movie works fine with a "slow" sandisk 1g card

meangreenie

It's probably a rumour from the M3 forums, trying to make out the SC-Lite fakes the video with a substitute one.... Lame

Can anybody explain to me whats the best way to get scummvm working on the supercard lite?

saintrobyn

Sneef,

Did you have to shave your SC Lite to have it fit properly in the GBA slot? If so can you post pictures of your alterations so that we can see what you did?

Thanks,
Saint Robyn

I want to know if moonshell actually works well since the supercard lite is faster.  I dont ever use moonshell because the words always get off from the video

Hi Sneef

Just bought and sc lite, super key and micro card.
New to this super scene - could you tell me how to setup and install the sc lite - supercard website is not very helpfulon installation guide.

all what you need is the patcher and the new firmware thats in the donwload section for your SClite      http://scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads
copy the .scu file file into your microsd  main directory(not in folders)
and boot it up and press yes when it aks you to upgrade. delete the file afterwards. then install the software you downloaded and patch all your games with it( first choose a directory meaning an output of wher you wnat your files to go)

right click on the games for more options like; for gba game you can selet realtimesave, more realtimesave( 3 more slots), cheats or text file. realtime save is an instant snapshot save anywhere and anytime and you press R+L+SELECT+B to realtime save. to do a regular save in gba games first save thru the game and the back it up by pressing R+L+SELECT+A.

when patching a nds game you can right click and set evreything to SD, also check faster play and rom trim to remove unnecessary space. NDS games save automatically when you save in the game, meaning you dont have to do any button combination.

since you have your supekey you dont need to flash your ds and you always need your superkey if your going to run nds roms or nds hombrew base.

hope this helps.

Sneef did it come with a software CD and does it come with a nintendo ds emulator already on it?

socket

It's for use on the DS itself... so an emulator isn't necessary.  I'm not sure you are understanding what the Supercard is.

sneef

it came with no software CD. probably because I got it a couple of days before official release.  And like socket said, there's no need for a "DS emulator" on it.  it comes ready to play all your backed-up commercial roms though; and also homebrew apps, including but not limited to emulators.

I just got mine today, I'm a little unsure if I'm happy the way the microSD card fits, it doesnt feel as secure as I had hoped it would... runs great though, transfered all my games from my miniSD SC without any problems.
