I have anther miniSD SC but it wont recognize the flashmp.ds file... how do i get it to recognize it? I tried using the sc software but it just make a 0kb dsq size file.

I dont think the SC CF is affected by this upgrade. All of the bricked ones are either SD or miniSD

My SC CF was. It got bricked by the new 1.63 upgrade.

Never run homebrew through the supercard patcher. The supercard patcher software is for commercial roms only.  You need to locate a file called ndsloader.bin and pre-pend the file to FlashMP.  Supercard users should type the following at the command line "copy /b ndsloader.bin + flashmp.nds flashmp.sc.nds" (for more information search for ndsloader.bin)

Supercard I have inserted orderly. ALL well. Then hold L+R and press UP (for Supercard SD).
Inscription "Erasing..." appeared in bottom. And all. Nothing else has occurred.

1. How much lasts the process flashing?
2. Whether to insert the card SD in Supercard?
3. If it is necessary then whether to place on it anything?

Did it detect your SuperCard before you started this procedure (it would show on screen)?
1.Seems to last quite short
2.Not needed I think, but it wouldn't hurt
3.No idea, but it wouldn't seem needed as the flasher software has a version of the firmware (and your card should be bricked).

For anyone still needing to fix the upadate error, there is a new Upgrade.scu with the latest 2.55C software. I guess it will recover the legitimate ones that got stuck at 32%.

edit.. sorry my bad, the SD (the ones affected) software still comes as a .bin file

I bricked 2 Supercard Lites by using the old update.bin and new update.scu.  Don't know why they both bricked but they did!

Anyway now I have 2 replacements (thanks Chris) and want to test I can swap Flash cards if I get a brick...
I have started the flashmp.nds file and it doesn't detect the SC Lite but I presume I would just use the SC SD option?
Anyway when I unplug then plug in either the other SC Lite my new DS Lite (Flashed with flashmeV7) reboots the DS.  I have tried this with the Power in, slide SC in the slot on an angle so it touches one side 1st (then tried it so it touches the other side 1st!!).
I have also tried swapping my GBA MP with the SC Lite and still reboots.

Is there anyway I can get the DS not to reboot??


Like I said I haven't got bricked SC Lite's but my previous updates did brick them so I need to make sure I can recover the bad flash this time.

I did some tests with various hardware and I get different results . . .

SCSD+DS Lite = works (requires power cord)
SCSD+DS phat = shuts off (power cord doesn't help)

SCmini+DS Lite = works (battery only)
SCmini+DS phat = works (battery only)

I can't test SCCF because I gave it to my cousin. I don't own a SC lite yet, but other people have reported SC lite does work.

I bought a fake Supercard mini SD unknownly from Malaysia while I went there
But now I'm in my country, Myanmar(also known as Burma) and I cant buy a new one or order because most ppl in here dunt even know abt NDS  :|

I dunt have any Passme device too and I bought my NDS that's already flashme installed...I could play downloaded roms and moonshell applications too....even with a new firmware(1.63) I could still use my FAKE(juz I think) SC but when I loaded a NDS rom(telling a commercial rom name is illegal here?) it said it's not the original and hang with fully loaded(I think my SC had been bricked)

Then...My NDS is not going into the SC screen at booting....I think it doesnt recognise anymore !  

Someone told me to press A+B+Y+X to know my NDS has flashme installed or not and the result is "YES"...it's installed and then he said my SC might b repaired if flashme installed....But I dunt have any device to link with someone or link with other gba flashcart because as I mentioned before that here..there's no ppl to help me for DS    

So I think Wifi method is the only chance I have to make my SC recovery. right ?  But when you(someone here) showed what type of network support NDS wifi but I dunt understand really....If you can...obviously...tell me the exactly and directly the names of cheap and popular Network Cards plz. !
(because if they are rare and expensive...Hardware shops may not import these)

Help me plz and I think some files also need too
If you dunt mind....tell me plz (send me if you can is much better because my country has only one ISP and it has very very slow connection speed and download speed)

Yes. BTW this is an old problem that has been addressed.  You will not find the bad firmware version available for download anymore.
