what's the problem of trying it online and if it don't work make a new account? Am i missing something or is it that easy? i'll risk my nintendo account to try it

I dunno, I haven't boughten my mario kart yet... but I'd assume you just need to make a new account. I'm not sure, but I think you could enter your nintendo.com account if you have one.

yeah you can use your nintendo.com ID at nintendowifi.com, but it seems like everyone is so scared to put in the rom code in fear of being banned. Screw it i'll do it soon as the rom works. i get banned i'll use my girlfriends name..or mums name.

as the code you'll enter is a mixture of your DS's MAC address and the game ID, it's possible that they'll just ban your MAC address... meaning no more online play for you.

I would be online playing with you guys now, but i cant find the wifi usb adapter/dongle its a hardcore piss off because i dont wanna get a

router just to play online

You can't buy the nintendo WiFi adapter in stores... you can only buy it online from their website store.nintendo.com

If they were smart they'd package the whole thing together $60.00USD gets you the whole lot. Gamestop by me didn't even have the game (only preorders) comes out in Target today. but either way i get the game i can't play online till i find a wifi adapter :|

Is the SuperPass still working after playing online with the DS?

Somebody now any release date

When you play mario karty with an original card then nothing happen to your supercard the superpass nothing do with the firmeware from the DS !!!

since I actually have the game and have been playing it I can clairfy some things for you.

The first time you go on the WFC, it generates a User ID code. There is no piece fo paper in the box or anything with a key on it, and you don't need a nintendo.com or a nintendowifi.com account.

All you need is that user ID that's generated.

The setup instructions talk about "treating your game pak and nintendo ds as one" so I'd assume that it has something to do with the game pack, but your user ID also works with OTHER wifi enabled games. So it would be logical to think that your userID is generated from your mac address and a few other things, and then written to either the firmware and/or the game card.

If you play the game in a different DS, you supposedly lose all your online stats. Currently I'm at 18 wins 8 losses

But yeah, the more I hear you guys talk about it the more I think supercard will be able to take it online, although you all love to speculate how nintendo is going to stop you.

But like I said, may the brave among you try. You wouldn't be sacrificing your nintendo account: you'd be sacrificing wifi priveleges for that specific DS. But even then, I doubt nintendo would be so harsh, considering errors between server and client do happen sometimes and they wouldn't want a whole ton of people calling because they were inconspicuously banned...

By the way, last night I played against a guy named Big Tits and he made his avatar/flag a picture of a torso with a pair of breasts. It was refreshing since we can't talk to each other/throw insults. Let me know that they really are people out there and not just crazy computer

Yes, romman has been working on a new version of firmware since 1.52. He's stated that the new firmware he is working on the game is already working but he hasn't released said firmware yet. He is either trying to make sure all of the new features work right, or it's in beta testing and he's waiting to hear back from all his testers... or third option, he's finished 1 version's firmware but not the other. Or finally fourth option (what held back firmware 1.52 so long) the firmware is completed but the software isn't ^_^
