I've had an SCSD for a while now, and now i've ordered an SCmSD. I noticed that the SD and the mini SD use the same software/firmware.

So, (just to be certain), would i be able to just copy the contents of my SD card onto the miniSD card, and it would work fine?

(obviously i'd need to update the SCmSD's firmware if it isnt the latest when i recieve it)

Yes, if your game roms are already patched with the latest SCSD patcher software then you can just cut-and-paste to your SC miniSD.
