Just wondering how much playing time between charges everyone is getting with he SC.

NT

I keep my DS topped off so I really don't know how long it'll last with the Supercard.

Razul

From my research of this card.. I've seen an aveage of around 4hr-5hr .. . about half the life of a normal cart.

But would like some real figures from people with the SC

Diablo

With the official battery, I got 4 hours and 8 minutes of play before the battery indicator illuminated (which, I believe, means there is still 25% of battery life remaining).  With a Nyko replacement battery (same mAh and everything as the Nintendo battery) I got 4 hours and 5 minutes of play.

These tests were done while playing Tactics Ogre with the volume maxed at all times, and with the front light always on.

arund 4 hours... not very impressive..

Ishan

around 5 hours swapping games all the time with stock battery.
I'm never far away from home or a power source so it's perfect for me.
SC is one of the best thing I bought in years, even with the slowdown :)

Is there a better battery for gamboy advance, longer life? Maybe 1200 mAh insted of 650 (I think).

Patx1981

Sure, there is for example the "Powergrip" made/distributed by Speedlink. It DOUBLES the Batterylife (Tested and approved in several reviews around the web).

Diablo

Yeah, there's quite a few different options out there.  Of couse, a lot of them are bulky, and don't fit in the battery compartment, so you will not be able to use some accessories with them.

I'd strongly recommend the 700mAh battery from lik-sang - direct replacement for the standard battery and gives an extra 2 hours or so battery life with the supercard.  Bonus is that it still uses your standard charger :D

Check on eBay - I got one for about £8 including postage

I ordered two of these batteries online from K-Mart (yes, K-Mart).

They're the stock 600mAh, though.  I bought them mainly for business trips, as well as replacements for when the stock eventually dies.  Of course, how often is it that you're away from a car or AC socket for more than 4 hours?

When you're stuck on the tarmac for 4 hours during a storm.   :x
