Major FlashMe Issue - Help!!!!

Hey Guys,

I decided to upgrade my FlashMe to V5, but I cant seem to get past 1%

The % symbol is flashing but I cant seem to move it past 1%, I found it challenging last time, but its being a major pain this time.

What will happen if I need to turn it off?

Any ideas?

don't turn it off.
you need to short that circuit from the rear again.
a small screwdriver ought to do the trick.

might be able to salvage the DS if it already had flashme on there. If not... well...
a little word of advice for future reference. Don't turn of the DS while flashing it. In fact, tape the battery in while you do it, 'cos NDS will no run without the battery in, even if you've got the power supply plugged in.

edit: also for future reference, the contact point is about 1mm above the hole's position, so a bit of an angle is required to bridge the points.

I did already have flashme on there

Did you have an idea?

Huh? That link tells you how to recover the DS firmware using flashme and your supercard. If you've installed flashme already you're covered... just need to start the recovery mode and have a copy of flashme on your SC.

But I still cant get past 1%, any ideas?

I've flashed once before, but I had some problems getting to 100%.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to make the SL1 contacts. Just keep fiddling at it, you'll get there....

Fiddling with it until it starts to move... then you found the cli..... i mean SL1 and then hold it there till its done...

what did you use to do yours?

The first time I used a jewellers screw driver, it gave me a lot of grief.

This time I've got a nail and no luck!
