I am using window 98. I have a PC with window XP upgrade, but it just broke down, so I have to have it fixed. I have tried the first and the third methods; however, they don't work with formatting the CF card. I don't have admininstrative access to my PC, so I am not able to try the second method.

So the CF card would not format?  What error was given when you tried formatting via the DOS/command prompt?

BTW, what's wrong with your WinXP system?  Myabe we can help you fix it yourself. :wink:

Here are three things that are only allowed to select or click a mark on it before I can format:

Anyway, how can I copy or shoot the picture of ALL THE STUFF IN MY WINDOW? If I can do so that I could paste them on this thread, which helps you to figure out the way to help me with the FORMATTING more easily.

Locate the F9, F10, F11, and F12 buttons on your keyboard.  Directly to the right of the F12 button is a button that should say something like "Print Screen".  Press this button, and everything you see on your screen will be copied to the clipboard as an image.  Open up Paint (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint) and press CTRL-V.  Now save the image in Paint (File -> Save As).

Can you restore your install to a previous restore point using System Restore?  What anti-virus software have you been using to remove the viruses?  I would make sure to run HijackThis! (free) and SpySweeper (a full-featured free version is available) as well as any good anti-virus software to help cleanse your system.  BTW, SpyBot is overrated, and often misses spy/adware that is on your system, so don't waste your time with it.

And how does he know that there's viruses in your System32 folder?  Does he know the specific files, or what viruses they are?

I don't know what happen. After I formatted the damn CF card, it still doesn't have real time save. My CF card is brand new though. Is there something wrong with the supercard or the supercard software. Well, I also use the latest software though.

You have a Print Screen button, trust me.  It may be labelled "Prnt Scrn", or something like that.  Maybe you could take a picture of your keyboard and I could help you find it? :lol:

Have you tried saving emulated games?  Have you tried using a different .sav and .sci  file (in case the ones you've been using are corrupt)?  Have you tried saving using the QPC method?

Yes only NORMAL SAVE is possible. As I said earlier, I have tried everything as possible to solve this problem but I can't, which is too bad. All I will try and see.

I think my picture is too large and I have to adjust the size. But by doing so, it will become very blurry. Anyway, does the picture have to be exactly the same size as described at ImageShack 1024?

Do I have to sign up or register before I can use it? I have tried, and it was just blank.

That is the maximum file size in KB, not pixels.  If yours is larger than that, open it in Paint and try to save it as gif or jpeg and see if it is still legible (the file size should be smaller).

All you do it go to the site, click the Browse button, locate the file on your system, click "Host it", then copy the text in the "Hotlink for forums (2)" field and copy it directly into a post in this thread.

This is how I format my card. As Diablo told me, highlight the drive of the CF card and my DRIVER for CF card is H: drive. Then right click and select format http://img222.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img222&image=ken4bl.png

After it was finished, it just said window has finished formatted this disk. Before using it, run scandisk and choose the thorough option to verify that data can be stored reliably on all areas of the disk. After that the window pop up http://img222.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img222&image=guy1mr.png

Your CF is formatted, yes.  Does it work?  If not, I would try formatting through the DOS/command prompt so that you can make sure the file structure is FAT and not FAT32, NTFS, et cetera.

BTW, it's not necessary to run scandisk/checkdisk on a drive.  After you get the "Format Results" dialog your drive/card is formatted and ready for use.

It works pretty well but it just doesn't have real time save

I usually use megaman network 4 for sample as I was able to real time save this game with my previous DONAK CF card. Now I am using ELECT DANE.
