In these last hours on one of the topmost scene's  forum/website [i know you guys know it well] is going on a sad comedy about :
reviews/ plots to rig them.../honesty...etc...

I think that everyone sufficiently brain equipped does know that the REVIEWS BUSINESS is a BIG one, a tasty cow to milk  , and it is one of the FIRST REASON that make people to set up forums[nothing against this if i could i would set up a forum about big tits just to have a babe to review ;)]  and websites.. yes to get FREE devices (and oter things that go out of this discussions, like sponsors etc..)

fortunately here , cause i'm browsing these pages form the very early days of scdev birth..(also if i registred only after a bit of time)
I can admit that things are going differently and the devices and other stuff the bosses should receive have been put as drwas prizes :D ...

but i do not stand these moralistic statements on other sites about IMPARTIAL reviews  .... an IMPARTIAL review will never exist...as impartial newspapers and impartial tvs....  just cause man act like man..so at least do speak about roms and leavethe sermons to our  priest

p.s. MGARRINE did this comments  about  scdev  detachedly

I know what your talking about and it is f'ed up. Word is the reviewers review was changed by the admin to make the product look weaker since the web site in question is pimping the products rival product, lol. I do reviews alot and here are my 2 general feeling about doing them:

1: Nothing is set in stone - If I make a mistake, overlook, or misuse a product I want people to tell me so that the review can be edited to portray the most honest and clear picture of a product. The reviews are not for the benefit of the website there posted on and should not benefit the person doing the review, a review should benefit the general population. It should be used to give people a clear and accurate picture of what they will be buying if they buy the product you review. If changes need to be made to the review the reviewer should make the changes or the review doesn't help the general population make an educated purchase at all.

2: No profit is made - I have NEVER made a profit from getting a sample in for review. I have a strict policy of not trying to turn around and sell a mod that I recieved for free. It's unethical. I have ALWAYS will continue to ALWAYS give away every single mod I recieve in for review to our members here at SCDev.org. I can say with all honesty that the only mod I have ever kept for myself is the G6 Lite ( you can try and pry it from my cold dead hands, lol) . There's no need for 1 person to own 2 DS Lites and 8 mod devices, lol.

Im pretty disapointed that the site in question has decided to delete any post that discusses this whole f'ed up situation instead of replying to it. If I were in the same position I would be defending myself and my website because accusations  alone have made it where I wont be posting any more reviews over there. Jpxdude is a member here and hopefuly he can shed some light on what happened.

The site is SCDev.org, but we do a lot more than just SC stuff here now.  RHS is our sponsor and he sells multiple devices as well.  I have no commitment to ANY device, and am here to provide information, not to profit... Sure I have Google ads and I respect certain requests of our sponsor, but I CAN NOT be bought.

I certainly can be bought, strap a Nike sticker on me and "Let's Do It"

Yea, I don't come here just for Supercard related info. That may have been the reason in the first place but i'm coming back for everything else as well. This Forum definately has evolved into something other then simply "Supercard Development".

Devs your statements : 1.. and 2 .. are fully true..we have had the time to appreciate your rare conduct and of the other scdev bosses...

but i want to point out that if anyone would have a "reward" for its work for the community/scene i do not intend it as a unethical since this is the fuel of making people doing lots of sacrifice both of work and of money, i imagine that to maintain a website with thousands of members cost time and bucks...

i was just saying that other websites  not only the one you catched...are now speaking about this fact as a tragedy, instead of getting it as a normal fact for the kind of service/publication ...(i have worked 3 yrs in a public relation firm and dealt with italian top hi-tech media/magazines and i now a lot about reviews and i remember how was easy to push our clients products(mobiles) and that was a normal practice)

this is the mechanism of the whole business and no one can change them or to blame it..only we can try to be honest...as scdev does...

i repeat that i was not referring to scdev or any other forum for their sponsors and other partners that i fully consider a smart thing,,, in fact in the open source/no profit community only sponsors and prtnership can help communities to grow , so please not misunderstand my words...
i was only disappointed to some websites that make complaint on "rivals" just to say "hey look me, i'm honest..",,, so the core of the argument is not the way of help(partnerships, sponsrs etc..) but the way to act versus other player of the scene... this is only the mere consideration of one (me) that loves the scene and has built a his idea of the common rules to follow/respect...
