Anyone else have it yet? It's an amazing game, but I can't log onto their servers for the online stuff. Anyone else having the same issues? Im hoping they are just getting bogged down and it will work soon. I bet they are getting hammered.

didn't they delay this or something due to words of the Koran used in the background track ?? or have they resolved that yet?

DeVS

That has been resolved. The game was to have come out last tuesday but instead it did not come out until yesterday. I figured out whats wrong, they aren't turning the Little Big Planet servers on until tomorrow.

I don't have a copy of Little Big Planet yet myself. Yeah, the new official release date has been moved to tomorrow (Tues 27th). I plan to purchase my copy then.

Pretty awesome game.  I ran through a few levels and then I got roped into the level design tutorials until something like 3:15am... oops.  I can't wait to play it some more!

Yeah, fantastic game!  I had to do some searching yesterday to get a copy.  Fry's, Toys-R-Us, and Kmart didn't have the game yet, even though Tuesday was supposed to be the new official release date.  I called around and found copies at GameCrazy. I didn't get much play time because my kids were all over it.  After they went to bed I got to play, but had problems connecting to the LBP servers.  I'm going to give it another go this evening.

It came out here ( uk ) yesterday; fun game so far... I visited sockets first creation! great stuff. Devs, Bitblt... I'm ratx on PSN what are you guys called?

bitblt

I'm "bit-blt" on PSN. DeVS and Socket are already on my friends list.  I'll request to be on your friends list next time I play "ratx".

That's pretty cool. I think I'll post that video on a different forum.

Cheers guys! That video is amazing; if only there was a way to do power ups too

I bought this game, then turned around and sold it.  Somewhat boring for an experienced gamer.  Probably OK for kids and grandma's...

socket

I hate to say it, but I got bored with it pretty quickly...  I'm thinking of selling it before it loses its value.

I dissagree guys. I will admit I haven't played LBP as much lately, been busy with other new releases. I still think it's a fantastic game. Both of my kids play LBP pretty regularly. LBP has gotten more play from my 14 year old daughter than any other PS3 game we own. I would say LBP is one of the best platformers I've played in many years. I personally had more fun with LBP than I had with SMG. I think LBP deserves to be compared to the likes of Super Mario and other legendary platformers. Considering all of the next gen online capabilities and cooperative play LBP may very well be THE best platformer ever created IMO. Seriously.

My 7 year old daughter got bored with it quickly.  I'm almost embarrassed to admit that the Wii is starting to grow on me.  I'm also embarrassed to admit that my daughter can hold her own against me in almost all Wii games.

I've been playing Gears of War and Boom Blox more than anything else recently (trying to finish GOW before starting GOW2).
