Will DS Link ever be updated?

I'm having more and more issues with this card, stuck at 2.31.  Guitar Heroes Decades does not save as do a number of other recent releases.  Should I give up the ghost on the DS Link, or might it be updated at some point?

I would suggest maby its time to upgrade as DSlink has been laid to rest now and the websites down and doubtful it will return!?

maby get yourself a nice ACEKARD 2.1 for $12.84  (£8.56) from deal extreme :)

I actually got one of these!  I got the 2i version in preparation for eventually getting a DSi.

Hint: if anybody wants to convert DS Link saves to AceKard 2 format, use R4's savegame converter.  The online converter at http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php cannot convert *from* DS Link, while R4's converter does.  The R4 format is the same as AceKard.  You just have to name the output save file with .nds.sav.

But here's a question for AceKard owners: how do you get the ROM trimming to work?  The only info I've found is to "copy" the ROM, but does that mean that I should use the copy function in the AceKard OS?  I think I tried that and it didn't work.

you don't even need to do that just use AKAIO and switch the save tipe to .sav :)

If you really need to rom trim use NDSTOKYO TRIMMER :)

Poor DSLink :(

I have to admit I still really like this card. The company really had something going in the fact that they built a very solid product. It would have been quite nice to see them continue with a nopass version and a DSi version, but it looks as if they are simply gone. At least it is still one hell of a homebrew card. I had made just about everything work with it flawlessly in terms of homebrew apps and emulators.
