woot!! getting a DSi XL today

i preordered it a while ago from PLAY here in the UK & they dispatched it yesterday so i should get it today
i ordered a brown one & if we like it i may order a red one next week

My issue with increasing the size without changing the resolution is that my DS Phat is *already* pixelly due to the large, visible pixels. I suppose if you're playing at a slight distance though it might be worth it.

Nonetheless, hope you enjoy your purchase.

Its not supposed to be pixelly on the DSi XL I heard.

By the way didn't they add a pixel filter or something like that? Might be confusing this with something else though.

im going to buy a red one as well for me but i have to wait till after my son gets his
the brown one is part of my sons birthday present so its wrapped up now till the 27th im also going to get him pokemon heart gold but its not out till the 26th in europe so i hope i can get it for him on the day of his birthday

Would be quite tempted to replace my phat, my gba micro can still be used for my fave gba games and is still my tool of choice on a long journey (so small!)

I couldn't believe how much slimmer the dsi was to my phat

Daughter got one at xmas,

Saw a Xl in action today, screen scaling is very good, not pixelated or blurry so it's been well done

hasn't pokemon got some sort of pedometer with it that uses IR to the cart ?
