...two NDS original games for my two sons' Xmas pressies....i have the NDS console , SC and Superpass....need originals to "fire em up" so to speak...
As i havent bought the SD cards yet i cant test whether  the DS's have anti passme or not....
however...
reading the threads  it sounds as though certain "original"games, in conjuction with the Superpass offer more compatability than others....a case in point being some games need a larger save file(??)...anyway

What should i  consider when choosing the NDS games???
Is it that Nintendogs for example is the most user friendly??
I know i was given some assistance(esp. by Koji...thanks M8!!) afew days ago, but more reading, reading, reading and to be quite honest, having read a lot of contradictory statements i decided to look dumb and ask again...

I'd say get Mario Kart DS, play online legally and it's such an awesome game

Yes I'd say a good 90-95% of games will work perfectly in passme... and I'm not so sure if the passme versus flashme compatibility numbers are very different anymore. The latest firmware fixed a lot of compatibility problems including games that used to only work with passme (like lost in blue)

Mario Kart is definitely a buyer gonna get it tomorrow
The new sonic game is fantastic too IMO.

We all know of MK's and bricking if not using V5 flashme(no??)so i was worried that if i try to use MK in my sons "virgin"DS it could bugger it up....i undrstand its a great game \online etc, but my query is more can it be used to flash for the first time???

Nope. Playing the original game on an unaltered DS won't change anything. You can play it like that and when/if you put flashme v5 or later on it later it'll still be fine.

Flashme is better u dont have a big thing that get out the ds on both side


anyway even if 1 or 2 games dosent work right now with flashme there is still 198 who work:P for a game i use Metroid Demo and my other ds , i use wario ware touched and both work great. Dont use mario 64 ds .... for superpass
