Dr.Wario

i also have the same problem as Pombo

the conversion software doesn't make savefiles
and the loading is long (like with the first software)

so i downgraded back to 1.52

Apparently  ( thanks to hurro ) SCZ released a 2.432 bug fix last night which addresses this issue. I haven't tested it but the fixed version is uploaded to http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/DS/SC/

Dr.Wario

i just tested it
still LONG loading times  :(

Pombo

Quote from: "jconds"after deleting registry entries you need to change the options back to "save to SD" and "rom position sd card" >> deleting the registry sets them to default options

oh my god

works fine ,thanks a lot

I have had no problems with 2.432(the original one not "fixed") - 512 mb sd card - 13 ds games and various gb, nes and gba games.

One ds game which was 64mb patched to 64.1 mb - everything else was trimmed to less than normal size.

MK seems to be saving fine as well so far (hasn't erased records yet)

All I did was uninstall 2.431 and then install 2.432

Everything's peachy so far (fingers crossed)   :o

is there a fix for the SD version too?  I have mine working now, but only through an awkward dual install (on 2 different partitions)...  so a real bugfixed release would be nice

EDIT: running the SuperCardsd.exe in win98 compatibility mode solved the problem for me too...FINALLY
ilver DS, White DSLite
Supercard(s) + FlashMe
512 MB digiBrain SD, 1GB SD

Dr.Wario

And what about the nlonger loading times ?
is this normal? or am i the only one with this problem ....

it seems to be  :?

Dr.Wario

and nobody replies to my problem  :D

what do you mean it's typical?  this is a helpful community.  sometimes you just need to give it some time.  most of us work full time, and have families too.

anyway, if your patched roms have the file extension .dsi, then they WILL have long loading times.  This is because .dsi roms are patched to run from the supercard's internal ram.  The entire rom is copied to the SDRAM of the supercard before launching, hence the long load times.

make sure you right click the rom (in the supercard patcher window) and select properties.  Set the rom postition to SD or CF (depending on which supercard version you have).  This will generate a .dsq file.  The load time is very short, because the rom will be streamed directly from your SD/CF card.

If this is NOT what you meant by 'long load time', then i have no idea what the problem is.  :)

hope that helps.

p.s. there are other topics in this forum that explain this.

Dr.Wario

thanks for the reply

by typical i meant
that i'm already used to it that nobody helps me out :P
(like jay-Z says i got girlproblems)

and i work to fulltime
and yes i am working now as a matter of fact

but anyway  thanks for the reply
i think i was just to stupid to check the settings
my roms are named *.dsi

I confirm DUDU.EXE method:

please instal the SC program in another folder (i put it on the desktop)

now it works fine.

I tried also the method to clean the registry from all SC entries (with regcleaner) then restart the pc and instaal the program again but this method did not work.

thank you DUDU.exe
