games to SC via wifi?

Someone released a software to copy files from PC to DS via wifi, using sgstair libs.  I wonder if it's possible to add this directly into the firmware of the SC (when it will be 100% working).  This way, we no longer need of a CF or SD card in the SC...better for battery consumption, no longer limited space on the media (games stored on my PCs), no CF coming out of the DS...

do you think it can be possible?

Possible yes, the problem is that someone makes it compatible with SC. As of streaming games to your NDS I doubt it, because the transfer speed is slow and you'll have freezes very oten.

Making the contents of your supercard accessable via IP address is neat yes, but it also may introduce more undesirable programs than the bricker.

Should at least make it so that you can have a password like an FTP server

Or 1 step better, instead of streaming games, why not make an ftp server so we can ftp our games to the SD card, then we would never need to remove the sd card from the supercard again :O

Streaming games: ever see the DSim in LGC's nfos? GCSim is a dol streamer, Im guessing DSim (unreleased) could be their version of an .nds streaming format...

McScruff, thats what the test does - it downloads the NDS file the GBA MP CF disk then runs it. Currently the loader plugin only works with GBA MP and the hacked firmware for it though the FAT library exists for SC CF/SD as well (SATA has been using it in RAIN for a couple releases now, and its working great even though the SD stuff is still in ASM).

It's interesting there's a couple of problems though

-existing programs may utilize wifi already so the streaming can't be realtime
-slow

programs can be streamed to the sd/cf card prior to running as if it was a wireless file manager of sorts but not a realtime software over wireless.

Whoa, there is still NO way to run two pieces of code on thesame time, simpel things as restarting can be injected cause they are triggers, but there is no way to run the code required to stream while playing the games.
on the other hand, sending games that are under 256 Mb to the supercard or larger ones directly to the CF/SD card is possible.
And an application to send files to the gbamp has already been released, I've used it.
So that won't be too hard to port to the Supercard
