Now that I have the SC and playing games, how do I save and play saved games.  I cant seem to figure it out.

GBA: Save as you would normally in game. Before turning the DS off, press L+R+A+Select and select Save then Yes. You can now turn your DS off.

NDS: In the patching software set "Saver patch" to SD or CF card depending on what type of card you have. You can now save as you would in any normal game. You should also have "ROM Position Patch" set to SD or CF for most games, if you haven't already.

Yup, just do that combo and it'll bring up the normal save option, choose yes.  Then it'll say please wait... then it'll go back to the game after about 2 seconds.  Make sure you have the newest firmware for the SC card... mine locked up when I tried to save with the stock firmware.

This is on my GBA with GBA roms

FOr NDS games you dont need to do the LRASELECT?

kompact

No you don't. Real Time Save only works with the GBA games, as these guys said, just save on the NDS games as if it was a real kart.

but after you save in the game you don't have to save with the sc menu anymore?

Correct. FOR NDS GAMES they will load and save directly to you CF/SD card once patched.

For GBA games you will STILL need to use the SC button combo save menus.
