nesDS...just can't get it working...

I don't know what it is, but with the latest release all I get are two white screens...no matter what I do. I tried appending a loader, and just about everything else you would think of to get it going. I want to compile a version that works wit hthe SC of course, and uses external NES roms on the CF card. Does anybody have the 12-30 release working on the SC? Any help is appreciated.

Is it safe to guess that the 29 other viewers of this post cannot get it working either?

I hear so many good things about this emulator, and while I have gotten everything else homebrew and emulator wise that I have tried to run, I just can't get this one to display anything more but two white screens...argh.

There is no version that works on supercard CF. The latest version of SNES/NES DS only support GBAMP, M3 CF, and Supercard SD.

Aha! Well, therein lies my problem. I'll have to bust out the SC SD and give this a shot again. Thought I was going crazy for awhile there. Well, thanks for the information!

I said no version, that's not true, the old versions work on all cards. But the new ones are test builds by loopy to try getting SD/CF devices fully supported. No idea why loopy hasn't tried getting CF working yet. The code is freely available... maybe cause he doesn't have a device to test it on.

(edit) Just tried it on my supercard SD and it runs beautifully, including the 30 second replay feature. I hope they add CF support for you guys soon.

I put NESDS on my Supercard CF and it works.

It's the SnesDS that needs the older version (12/8) to work on the SC CF.

I can load nesDS but it says no roms found, even though it's in the same folder as all of my roms.... where am I supposed to put it?

Does matter what directory. NESDS automatically loads the folder with the roms for me. Even if it didn't, you should be able to select the folders and such manually.

Just take the NESDS.bin and rename it to NESDS.NDS and run it just like that. (that's what worked for me anyways)

yeah that's what I did, it's odd, I figured it would of work like you said... I'll give it another try I guess, even if I tried 2 times already and the same thing happend.

Well I tried a couple more times and it always says no roms found.... I dont know what I'm doing wrong, I got the file from http://www.cs.utah.edu/~tew/nesDS/ I unzipped it and renamed the .bin to .nds, how can I get this to work?
