I wanted to play gba roms on my nds but i hear there is slowdown with the NDS, is this attributed to the SC it's self or becauseit's updated to use the NDS roms? Would having 2 cards both SC's or 1 SC and another brand stop the slowdown because it's ment for GBA only?

The slow downs will occur regardless - it's an issue with the SC itself.
