How to run NDS games without flashme?

I might flashme in the future soon, but for now I'd like to know some details on how to get a game working just using the supercard and the superpass2

IT IS A PAIN.. you will want to flash after doing it once.

- After programming the SuperPass2 for a game you own you will need to do the following EACH TIME you start up the DS to play an NDS program from the SC.

1. turn on the DS with nothing in the DS slot and the SC in the GBA slot.
2. Launch the specific SRAM sav loader for the game you have.
3. Insert the SuperPass2 with your retail game in it.
4. Turn the DS of then back on quickly.

The DS should now be DS mode.
5. Select the NDS rom you wish to run.

Just be carefull with the SuperPass2 it will click into place just like a NDS cart.. You will need to press it in again and THEN gently pull it out.

Some people have insearted it then just yanked it out wrecking the NDS slot.

It is nasty. So is the whole method of loading titles. Embrace the flashme, do not run from it!

Seriously, I have used the Passme2 ONLY to get flashme on DS units. It is the very first thing I do to the system when I purchase it. It's not difficult, you'll be glad you did, and you'll be kicking yourself for why you didn't do it previously.

I was worried about the warranty but Nintendo is usually so durable..

it's just that when I get my SC tomorrow I want to try a game right away (namely Super Princess Peach)

I didn't flash my NDS and I don't think it is a pain to do the tricks.
Works great for me.
Maybe I flash my NDS some day but not now.
It works great and it doesn't take you more than 10 15 sec to do it maybe even less.

The superpass and all passmes are way too clunky to have sitting in the back of the ds, also it takes up power

Thats true

Would look better without. And it would be better for the battery but it is not a pain to do the tricks.

I don't mind for now. But I am a bit scared to flash my NDS.

I am so afraid to mess up my ds

or putting in the wrong file, firmware etc.
Is it really that easy?
Can really nothing go wrong?
And what if a new frimware comes do I have to do it agian flashing my ds?

What are the positive and negative things about flashing? (for example whats the worst thing that can happen)
And what are the positive and negative things about not flashing?

When I flash it can I still play every game on the ds?
Can I use Wifi?

I don't want to mess up my ds.

I looked at the tutorial but my problem is that I don't understand every thing.
I just wanna know every step in simple english words.
What and where can I get the new firmware?
Do I need to do something special because my ds has never been flashed.
Can I flash my ds back to it's original firmware?
