Which SD card?

my 512 PNY sd card just broke.
as far as i can tell there is no way to fix it (it just says it cant be formatted).

i want a 1gig SD. which one should i get?

I got a 1gig Patriot High speed (says 133x) and am super happy with it, got it at Fry's retail store

Can you play Tony Hawk, Animal Crossing, and Metroid Prime Pinball all flawlessly from the SD position with that card? Very curious.

Tony hawk I get workign perfectly with my SD card.

Animal Crossing and metroid prime simply load from Supercard instead of SD and problem solved there.

Hmmmmm . . . All three of those games run on my 2GB 150X SD . . . I guess speed does matter . . . :wink:

Good to know, but we're still missing an important piece of the puzzle here -- what SD card do you have, and what speed is it?

Two quick questions for you... is your card an A-Data? Also, if you try running the games from the SuperCard position, can you spot any performance differences?

No, my SD is a pqi 2GB 150X I purchased at Fry's. I run all my games from the SD position (loads faster) and they run perfectly.
