Thanks bitblt for fixing my NDS.

After failing to Flashme my NDS and ending up with a blank screen I turned to bitblt to fix it. He did an incredible job and now the NDS Lite works!

I will tell you what happened with me, and you tell me if you(or even anybody) can fix it:
I was applying a new shell for my DS Phat, and I was already re-assembling the DS when I noticed there is a very small cut in the ribbon cable betwen the mainboard and the two sound boards beside the top screen... And my DS is no more... when i turn it on, the top screen isn't working, the bottom one fades from black to white then turns blue then the DS turns off. Any suggestion here guys? I don't know what to do(beside buying a new DS)

Sorry man, I can't help you with that problem.  Any type of damaged ribbon or broken ribbon clasp is bad news.  The only thing I can suggest is to buy a broken DS phat on eBay, or sell your DS phat on eBay for parts.

I spilled water on my dsphat and therefor bricked it in my own way.  :cry:

edit: just as a side note, I bought a new nds phat a while back, so I do have one. But if I got my old one working I could give it to my sister who literally dreams about owning an nds.

Sorry, I can't help you with a water damaged DS phat.

Perhaps the both of you (ExtremeCoder and HI) could PM each other and work a deal to get one DS phat working with parts from the other?

have you checked the battery, this is the most common problem with water damage

Damn you lol xD You had me scared, you dont know the amount of effort that I had to go through, to get my beloved FF DS xD.. I had to beat it from the devil! =D

:lol: The fuse has been repaired and your beloved FF3 DS Lite is alive and well. I upgraded the firmware with flashme v7 lite.

When I flashed my DSL the progress went to 1%, and then I must have lost contact - nothing I've done so far has been successfull in resuming the flashing preocedure. from my experience with flashing the old DS's I never thought that losing contact would have such bad consequences.I

Yep, after I recovered your DS Lite firmware and started flashme it picked back up at 1%. I used my tinfoil tool and it continued on to 100%. Nice Onyx DS Lite with hard case BTW.  

Hallo Chris, today I sent you the Supercard, with the corresponding sdcard, to be checked I told you about some days ago. Please let me know when it arrives, I think it will take at least 10 days...

Sorry Frank, I wasn't able to recover your Supercard SD. It seems to have some serious hardware problem and displays "not find the SD" no matter what I try to do.  Unfortunately I'm going to have to return it to you in the same condition it was set to me.

I've a GBA sp and have been using my cf supercard for about 2 months. A few days ago it started giving me problems. I ran it in diagnostic mode and it sometimes would say flash error. Other times the SC would work fine.
This morning I decided to reflash the SC with firmware 1.70 and it stop halfway. Now the SC wont boot at all. Can you fix this? thanks.

I'll have a look at your M3 if you want. I can't guarantee I'll be able to fix it.  I don't actually do electronics repair other than DS Lite fuses. Usually it's about recovering Supercard firmware using WiFiMe/WMB or recovering DS Lite firmware using the BIOS swap method.

thanks bitblt for recovering my cf sc.

My sc firmware upgrade hang half way and the firmware got corrupted rendering the unit useless.

I was lucky to have found bilbit on this forum, he managed to modify the SC casing so that it'll goes into his DS and he recovered the firmware and the best thing is ..he didnt charge me anything!!!! it s free

i have a supercard cf and i got glitched up screens on my phat ds when i downgraded it to  firmw. 1.63 due to 1.7 not QPC'ing for stuff well thats what i heard so i want to know is thee a way to fix it..or is it dead...
