Are you still doing this?

I have an DS Lite that I screwed up flashing FlashMe. If I just turn it on normally it's bricked. It makes it into the Supercard menu if I do start-select-A-B, but I don't really want to risk flashing it again. Can I send it to you?

No problem. Service charge is $15 plus cost of return shipping. Send me a PM and I will provide further instructions.

Your DS arrived today in good shape.  I was able to successfully restore your DS lite using the Flashme v7 emergency A+B+Start+Select procedure.  Flashme continued from 4% and went all the way to 100%.  Everything is working fine now.  There is no good reason to use Flashme v8.  Because I didn't have to take apart your DS lite and do the BIOS swap trick, I will only charge you $5 for basic flashing service. Enjoy. :)

Hi bitblt,

Are you still providing your repair services? I think I have a problem with my Supercard SD. Sent you a PM describing the problem. Hope to hear a reply from you soon.

Cheers.

Hi. Yes I think you have a problem with your Supercard firmware because in your PM you write, "as the downgrade was proceeding halfway, my GBA hung", and now you get black screens.  Because you are located in Singapore it would be convenient to fix your Supercard SD yourself if you have access to a slot 1 like DSONE or R4. Here is the new way to fix a slot 2 Supercard with bad firmware using a slot 1 . . .

1. You should prepare a slot 1 flash memory card, example: DSONE, R4 etc.
2. Insert the bad slot 2 SuperCard into NDS slot 2.
3. Copy the *.nds file to the slot 1 flash card.
4. Open the power, run the *.nds like a normal game from slot 1 flash card.
5. Now, you can fixed the slot 2 Supercard lost firmware.
6. Then, you can upgrade to the newest firmware.

Just so everyone knows, bitblt did a great job! I got my DS back today and it works great. Wow, Flashme is really cool :). Thanks again!

bitblt,
I have a NDS Lite? The R button on the top side doesn't work. I took it apart and it looks like the button may have something wrong with it. Do you work on this type of problem?
Thanks!!

Hi. Can you show pictures of the problem?

What I meant was that when you push in the left button it clicks. When I push the right button it doesn't click. I tryed cleaning it with contact cleaner but it didn't help. I think the button on the motherboard needs replaced. It's too small for me to attempt. Any ideas?

Sorry, I don't have parts to repair your problem. I hope you find a solution. Maybe call Nintendo and tell them about the problem.

Hi, I have a SC Mini SD that is firmware-bricked and needs fixing. Heres what I did to it  :tard:

- Skipped from firmware 1.63 to 1.7. (not sure of the numbers exactly, but I skipped one. Brick.)
- Attempted fix with flashmp.nds. Regular SD version.  :tard: Didn't finish once within hours, so I tried it multiple times.
- Used official firmware fix from supercard.com. Which also never finished (probably because my card is at this point a mix of wrong firmwares), got to 7% multiple times before giving me an error.

So, I'm tired of 'fixing' it myself for the past few months. Can you PM me the address to send it to?

hi i tried to flash my DS lite with Flashme.nds V.7, adn i got to 9-12% and then it just froze. I was using EZFLASHV and my friend has the same flashcard and flashed his dslite just fine. When i turn on the power I get a black screen, then when i turn on the power while holding Start+Select i get a white screen. When i put in my EZflashV and hold Start+Select while powering on i get a white screen, but when i put in a NDS game like Advance wars or Cooking Mama in the slot 1, hold Start+Select and power on it loads the game fine and doesn't freeze in mid-game or doesn't load at all. I can still charge my DSLite and everything. I've also tried useing the A+B+START+SELECT it just give me a white screen.

I will be happy to take a look. Maybe flashme recovery doesn't work well with EZFLASHV? You have PM.

WELL, try using your ezflash v again, but this time make sure u only have the flashme.nds file in the root of ur card and no other files. try booting your ds like that holding start+select  or
A+B+START+SELECT, than when you get the white screen press the A button twice or the Start button. try and see what happends than.
