I dunno if it is a real plate in Japanese culinary culture...but i can't get to prepare it well...please help  which steps (in order ) are to be followed to make a good takoyaki

I also failed my first Takoyaki, didn't know what the hell to do. So first I went http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takoyaki and saw about how do to, and then just did all the steps in a row..

So:

First oil one hole
Add dough
Add all ingredients from "ingredients"
Use pick to separate two or more, roll them into a ball (so they get darkish)
Use sharp thing in "layout" and put them in bowl, last add all other stuff from "layout"
