the standard blue sandisk ones are fast enough to make me see the movie at full speed?

which sd do you have?

bye  :D

Koji

I don't think anyone has gotten the movie to play full speed on the supercard SD. Only on the CF.

Hi to all...

I am a new member... :D

On topic... someone said to me that a Ridata (Ritek) SD 1gb Pro high speed (66x) plays the castlevania video at full speed on Supercard sd.

Knowing the man, I think it is true but don't have seen the thing...

If you or someone other find this or another sd that go at full speed on the SC SD, please tell us.

Bye.

yes it's my first priority (the second one is to kill sara connor :terminator:) you can bet your ass on it!

but.. where is this uber movie of death? i haven't saw it

Start Dawn of Sorrow, then sit at the menu for a few minutes and it'll start the video.

Really, who cares? It's 30 seconds of anime footage at 15fps. It holds no relevance to the story and is ONLY for eye candy. "Look! The DS can do full motion video too! Not just the PSP!"

clearly some do...
koji...you get my award for thje most opinionated person on this site, which is rather sad as you seem to have an inkling for this subject matter...

So you can honestly recommend someone to pay $50-60 for a new SD card simply for the singular purpose of playing a 30 second anime intro that isn't even that impressive?

you cant? you fool! jk

My brother owns the original cartridge and neither he nor i noticed the movie at all. I need to check it out then but as long as the gameplay is he same does it matter whether or not the movie plays at full speed

My problem is not only the Castlevnia Movie but also Tony Hawk and Animal Crossing. Those 2 games are choppy, especially Tony. It is not really playable.  :?

Dudu.exe

you can find  the castlevania intro  in game sites .. convberto to moonshel videofile and watch it t full speed =]~

It's been said several times, but I think it's the only sensible answer to certain games having problems (and people having problems with those games, respectively):

Your DS *can* actually play original carts, so for the SC incompatible (or slow) games just buy the original for around 30 Euros (in my country) and you can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played.

Or, what I usually do, skip that game and play one of the other 304 releases (yes, I am aware of duplicates).

Obviously no...

But if someone must buy a sd already (first one or a larger one), it is better to buy one tested on a Supercard SD to be "speedy"... :D

This can avoid also, as someone said, other speed problems for other (future?) games...

Well said !

The Supercard is really great...
(together with the Nintendo DS, obviously... :) )
