Did you try with other videos?

Make sure you've got encoder compatible with your version of dpg player.
I am using MoonShell 0.999 with dpgtools 0.999.

Those are my settings for 0.999:
 Sound:
  PCM rate: 32k Hz
  BitRate: 128 kbps
  Volume: 100%
  Method: use mencoder.exe
 Video:
  Screen width size: 256
  Aspect Ratio: auto detect
  BitRate: 256
  FPS: 12

Sound sounds really nice and is quite loud.

when playback gets out of sync I just pause and resume. It always comes back on track, give this a try.

always just use dpeng to encode and moonshell to play.

I just converted a movie with those settings, with 0.999 dgp and moonshell. The quality is amazing, very very good looking, the sound is also very good. But I have the same problem as cheerup347, the sound gets out of sync and pressing pause doesnt not fix it. I never had that issue before on older dpgenc. But It's also the first time I do a full movie, usually just watch episodes. It seems like movies get out of sync more easilly then shows?

yeah that really sucks, did you try using an older version of dpgenc? like the one in the 0.991 beta?

I used 12 fps and it would get out of synch a little bit once in a while. I would pause and resume and it would go away. I was also using moonshell 0.991 back then.

Thanks for that info I'll definelty try that soon and see how it works for me, I would hate having to go back to an older moonshell version.
