If you have an older version DS, you may not need to do anything special other than insert the supercard (and formatted SD) in GBA slot, and insert the superpass2 (and game) in DS slot before power up.  You should then see the dual screen supercard logo menu.

Check your DS firmware version . . .

If you have a newer version DS you need to update the superpass2 to match the DS game you will have inserted.

Start with this step-by-step and tell us at what point you run into problems . . .

You said you have a blue version 2 DS, so this should be easy.

Update supercard firmware . . .
1) remove superpass2 from DS
2) format SD as FAT (not FAT32)
3) copy latest supercard firmware bin file (v1.60) to SD
http://www.scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads&type=sd
4) put SD into supercard, put supercard into DS, power on DS
5) select DS option "Start GBA game" to start supercard in GBA mode
6) you should now see supercard menu, yes?
7) select and run supercard firmware bin file

Test supercard+superpass2 in DS mode . . .
1) put superpass2 switch in up position
http://www.supercard.cn/superpass2/images_en/image008.jpg
2) insert superpass2 (and game) into DS, then power on DS
3) you should now see the dual screen supercard logo menu, yes?

Patch game roms . . .
1) verify game roms with Nintenren software
2) patch game roms with latest supercard patcher software (v2.51)
http://www.scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads&type=sd
3) use this list for best patcher software options
http://www.dualscene.net/lists/index.php?listname=Supercard
4) copy patched *.dsq and *.sav files to SD
5) run patched files in DS mode

I don't understand "my usb driver is not working" please explain . . .

Is your problem with Windows copying files to your SD memory card?

OR

Are you trying to program your superpass2?

Im confused . . . Please tell me what version DS firmware you have . . .

First i wanna say sorry VTR2243 for hijacking.. but i need help on programming my Superpass2, when i try programming i get three errors. 1.hardware not found by pc. 2. USB not connected. 3. SP2 switch not open. well everything is wired right and pushed in all the way, i've even tried tweaking my LPT port in the bios with still nothing improving.. i've tried tweaking in my device manager.. but how do i know if my pc is even noticing the USB cable and the programmer?, when i hook up my USB cable nothing comes up saying new device found or anything like that..

Please help, i'm getting pretty frustrated

Thanks

bitblt

The USB is only used for voltage power to the superpass2 programmer.  The LPT is the programming interface.  The superpass2 programmer software may be incompatible with your PC parallel (LPT) port.  Can you try a different computer?  You only need to program the superpass2 one time.

thuggish3000

well i've tried 3 different computer's with still nothing different happing

bitblt

I understand your problem now.  I'm sorry I don't have a solution.   :(

You might want to try an older PC computer?  Try different LPT bios settings.  Check SP2 switch and contacts.  I think you need to return your superpass2+programmer for new one?

thuggish3000

okay, thanks,,, but this brings me a question i did the firmware check on my Electric Blue DS and it has the dark green firmware.. So does this still require me to Upgrade my Superpass2 firmware? i did put my Superpass2 in my ds with the raymon ds game turned the ds on and it booted me into 2 white screens is this normal if nothing is in the GBA Slot?

Thanks

Blight

If it's not an IQue ds and you have a dark green firmware you don't need a passme2, you can also just leave you passme2 programmed as a passme1.

is it automatically programed with superpass 1/passme1? also if i insert the superpass with a nintendo ds cart and turn the ds power on should i get 2 white screen if nothing is in the GBA Slot? ( ds shows heath warning then 2 white screens) nothing is in the GBA slot..

No!!!  LOL . . . I tried to explain this already.  I understand we have a language problem here . . . but please be specific when asking for help.  And please answer any questions I ask, if you can.

Yes.  Two white screens would be expected with GBA slot empty.  You need both supercard+superpass2 inserted to get to the dual screen supercard menu.

You said you have a DS firmware v3, so this should be easy.  Please follow my instructions carefully.
