anyone used\ got one??
Worth it??
can more than one SCSD use it at a time, and most importantly, is it compatible with ROMS??
Thanks

I don't have the Nintendo DS connector, but I do have a Wireless router and being able to play MKDS online is worth it.  Yes, multiple DS's can connect to any access point.

thankyou for your reply bitblt...
however i was hoping for a reply from someone who had experience with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector  in combination with the Supercard...
Thanks also for the info re. multiple DS's connecting....
Could each of the 5 DS players all have different games being played at the same time???

Blebekblebek

better but Router than USB connector

mister x

router is better?
Why....other than it can be used with other devices?

Blebekblebek

MULTI OS
can connect any wireless stuff
same price (actually little bit expensive 10-25$)

but if you have more than 1 PC/Laptop/wireless device
ROUTER is a MUST!

I have the Nintendo USB dongle, and two flashme'd DSs using Supercards. Both DSs can connect at the same time, running MKDS ROMs, and I think I tried with AC:WW too ...

First time I bought the connector it didn't work at all. All kinds of problems. So I returned it. In january a modified installer was released by Nintendo and I tried my luck again. Now it worked P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!! I'm very happy with it. Mario Kart on SC works and also AC:WW and Tony Hawk. I had some connecting problems a couple of weeks ago but when I patched the games with the newest patching SC-software everything worked like a charm again.

I bought the USB WIFI connector on security grounds. With the DS not supporting WPA, there was no way I was leaving a usable path to internet access wide open via WEP, so setting up the WIFI connector using NIFI works like a charm as only authorised DSes can use it.

Wouldn't install at first despite using the new installer (I suspect due to my....complex ;) network setup) but after a lot of tinkering (trying to manually install the last reg tool bit that kept failing) and finally a reset it just came up on its own :)

That said, it's just stopped working twice in 2 months, but simply unplugging it and pluing it back in has had it come straight back up. I suspect overheating as it does get quite warm, but who knows. I'm happy.

Whilst i have no idea what WEP is, i understand your point, and appreciate it...security hasnt even been brought up......
Thanks  mr_jrt for that aspect...
