Hello,

I've succesfully flash my DS (pictochat bug --> 2 yellow screen--> FW4). But it doesn't work for the DS of a friend, wich is older (pictochat bug --> 2 grey/blue screen --> FW2). The DS doesn't reboot in SuperCard mode, like if the SuperPass 2 isn't inserted.

My method :

I use SuperPass 2, updated with Xilinx for Mario Kart DS (AMCP-0) and SuperCard updated in 1.60 with the files amcp-0.gba and amcp-0.sav found on DarkFader.net.

I insert SuperCard, CF and Superpass (without DS card). I launch amcp-0.gba in GBA mode, Written SRAM done. So, I reboot the DS with Mario Kart DS inserted in SuperPass.

But the DS starts with default DS screen, not in SuperCard mode.

Maybe for this older DS, I have to flash the SuperPass2 with the SuperPass firmware 1 ?

Does somebody can help me ?

You must have fuked up flashme. Cause I flashed my old DS with Super Pass 2 just fine. Go to the passme site and read how to flash ur ds.. do it step by step

With the SuperCard too ?

It's the one from DarkFader.net, AMCP-0, for Mario Kart DS, wich works fine on my new DS.

Wich passme file do you use ? Can you give an url ? Thanks.

i thought for old firmware DS, you can use superpass2 as if it was superpass1.  in other words, without the sram files.  i'm not sure though.. but that's what i thought people had said.

did you try simply booting with the superpass2+DS game in the slot? try skipping the SRAM step...

I had to use SRAM for flashing a V2 DS recently. So yea..

oh.. hehe.. i didn't read his post properly.  just saw the "old DS" in the title.. didn't realize it's a v2 firmware.

I can only think the SuperPass is acting up or you aren't power cycling fast enough. Leave the cart in the SuperPass and have the SuperPass half inserted instead, so it's quicker to insert.

I've flashed the Superpass2 with firmware1 and it works ! This DS is now flashed.
