I have a red ds. I would like to update the kernel. I currently am running sc version 1.52

I have read that the newest is 1.60

Can someone tell me how to update it? Thank you

Surely you used the search facility on this site and looked for "firmware" and found the following:

Basically get the download, transfer it onto your card, run it.

After that you can delete it.

You should stop distributing that old old hacked version of Moonshell - the last several official versions have had Supercard support.

Also, where did you hear of this v6 firmware? Even the newest DSes at the Nintendo store have been reported to have v5 (pink) firmware.
