I've got a simply question.
I own a DL, a supercard CF and a superpass2 (used as a superpass1), why may I use flashme? There are some good reason?

tnx

There are plenty of good reasons..

- Superpass is pretty huge it's REALLY bothering when you're playing

- You won't have to do all those power cycling thing. After flashing when you turn on your DS, it will automaticly open in DS mode..

- If something happens to Superpass while you're playing (for example gets out from the slot) your game will freeze. So you gotta be careful when you're playing with that thing.

- it drains a lot of battery

- it protects your DS from bricker virus

- It removes the safety screen

What else ? It's great and it takes only like 2 mins to do it.. Don't be lazy

It drains battery? I suppose that was a supercard fault and not superpass.

Can I be "bricked"? Doesn't require the SL1 link for ereasing the fw?

My DS is still in warranty....

Superpass drains extra battery.. With Passkey I had to charge every single day but after I flashed my ds I charge my DS every 2 days.. Its a big improvment..

Well, I have to say, for bricking your DS, you gotta be really unlucky or clumsy.. Because the whole flashing progress only takes like 10 secs literrally. Shorting a little hole for 10 secs is not really hard, trust me.. I don't know anything about electronics or whatsoever and I could even do it..

Yes, you can be bricked.

You can get the bricker by running homebrew on the DS... If you install flashme you will get the failsafe for bricker recovery.  If you get the bricker without flashme your DS is pretty much toast. :)

Yes, you have to short SL1 to install flashme, but shorting SL1 is not required to get the bricker.

Just plug in your AC adapter and you'll be fine.

plug on AC charger and hold the battery with a finger.

PS:
I haven't damaged the seal on the SL1 :D

The battery doesn't drop even though when its upside down.. because the battery place is very tight.. When I was flashing my ds, I was always holding my ds upside down(screen down) to make sure..
