Question on NDS Compatibility with Superpass

I currently have a GBA SP with a Supercard SD and I'm looking to buy an NDS and superpass, but on hopebuy.com there's a message that says to check your serial number against a compatibility list to make sure that the superpass will work with your NDS unit.  So I want to make sure when I buy an NDS that it's one of the good ones on the list.  Problem is, if they're new you can't take them out of the box to view the serial numbers, and used ones (such as on e-bay) are being sold out of lots of several and the merchants can't guarantee that I'll get the one they tell me about.

Anybody had any bad luck on getting the Superpass to work with recently purchased NDS units in the USA?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need a Superpass 2 for new firmware DS.  There are no serial numbers that won't work.  It's just that you need to the new Superpass to work with the new firmware.  Superpass 2 also works with old firmware, so that makes Superpass 2 universally work with all current DS.

Thank you!  That puts my mind at ease.  Now I can find the best deal on a DS and not worry about it - just gotta make sure I get a Superpass 2.  Thanks again!
