My buddy and I were in Akihabara yesterday to buy one for his DS Lite.
The only colour available at the moment is purple and it cost 7980 Yen.

I didn't take any pix sorry. It doesn't stick out nearly as much as the Normal Supercard but it does still stick out a couple of cm's. Mind you with the DS Phat it is pretty much flush.

Yeah I didnt expect it to stick out that much and I cant compare it to a regular supercard because I've never seen one but I'm sure it would be even worse   .

We have a skewed view of the NDS lite. We pioritize the GBA slot because we need to use it. I believe that Nintendo's design concept is that NDS owners will use their NDS for DS games, which do not stick out. The GBA function is just a bonus, so be happy they actually kept the GBA port.

I would focus my attention on flash cart creators and see if they can step up their cartridge design, so it can fit nicely into the NDS lite slot. I doubt that it's impossibe, since chips and components are becoming smaller and smaller. It's just a matter of time and cost.

ya rumor is EZ flash will make a ds lite only flash cart that uses transflash cards which are HALF the size of mini sd cards

but wouldnt sales go down? not everyone has a ds lite...with a normal gba flash cart there are 5 systems they can be played on...with a ds lite cart it would be 1 system only
