If the mic software has been hacked, and read/write support for supercard SD has been hacked, is it possible for anyone to make a simple voice recorder that saves (file type doesn't matter to me )?  All i need is a voice recorder that begins when i hit "a" and ends when i hit "b".  Is this possible?

Yeah I was also wondering why no one made a voice recorder for the DS yet, it would be cool to have that implemented in DS organize.

The closest thing I know of is Nitrotracker. It allows you to record short clips with the mic and save them. It's a little bit complicated though. I agree it would be great to have a nice, simple recorder.

there is already an example in palib for that i can compile it if you want

howvere the files cant exceed 3.5megs approx since the ds ram is only 4 megs

About how many seconds of recording time can you get with 3.5 megs?

can you set it not to exceed,s so i dont mess anything up?  If so, COMPILE THAT THING !  and if you need a GUI  i can prolly do the graphics for one.   just tell me what you need.
