"Fail-safe feature: The first part of firmware is write-protected with the SL1 contact. In case malware erases the rest, you can still reinstall FlashMe from GBA cartridge by holding START+SELECT+A+B keys"

You hold down START + SELECT + A + B and it will launch flashme from a GBA flashcart in a nutshell. The supercard menu doesn't launch properly though so its best just to have flashme on the card and press A a few times until it executes...

thanks again.. so do i still need to bridge the sl1?
sorry for the newbie question.

That depends on how much has changed from the version you're running to the version you want to install. Be prepared to do the SL1 thing is probally the safest answer.

hi guys.. i have problem with my two NDS.. one is V2 which i've upgraded to V6 previous and recently to V7... another NDS is V5->V6->V7 too..

when i'm playing game, and i put down the upper screen to close the NDS lid, the screen keep blinking or flashing, and it seems the speakers also making beeping or pulsating noise like boop boop boop...

what is happening.. the V2->V6->V7 NDS is louder boop-ing noise..

it's weird.. i'm also did upgrade of SC firmware to 1.61 for both.. wat could be the problem? i was using patcher 2.54 for tetris, brain age..

pls help.. anyone having this prob?

Well its not a host and I got lucky and it worked on my electric blue DS. It only works on certain ones though. Only way to really know is to try for yourself  8)

That's  because the DS wants to go to standby. It can't do that without having DS cartridge inserted.
