Portrait of ruin looks amazing.
The DS is looking like a better investment all the time!

Nintendo just continues to impress... Sony continues to disappoint, and Mircosoft hasn't really had anything to say have they?

Deadmon

Nintendo didn't stop there though.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl. *drools*

uzumakishade

yes SSBB with Zero Suit Samus, Wario, Snake, Meta Knight and Pit

This is going to be the best year and favorite system along side DS for me

I didn't believe you when you said Snake. That's friggin awsome.
I wonder how they got Konami to agree to that.

Jax

Whoa! If Snake's in it, maybe next is Sonic!

Hey, it could happen...

what i want to know is, what comes bundled with the Wii when you buy it, is it just the system and a controller as well as the nunchuk addon? any game come bundled with it? do you have to buy the "classic" controller seperately?

these are the questions id like answers to

You can use the GameCube controller with this game. In fact, Nintendo recomends it!

uzumakishade

ive known the gcn controller can be used with it since they first announced the Wii, but i want to know if they will be selling a bundle on launch day as well that will come with maybe two controllers or one Wiimote and the classic controller as well

anyways im off to school ill check back later

Limbo

I'm no fan of Sony or the playstation (never owned a PS1 or 2)

However I would like to just clear up why it is so expensive.  as well as a console it is also a blu-ray disc player.  blu-ray drives at the moment are around £350

Also loving the new Smash bros video and looking forward to Star Fox DS IF it gets some good voice acting this time unlike Assault

unfortunately for ps3 though, most gamers arent gunna buy it for the blu ray player( probably m ore of the techies/ people that will have use for it all), they want a system that plays games with out all the extra stuff

Well, I've studied all the E3/media coverage of Wii. I must say some of the games look very fun, especially using the innovative nunchuck control.  Nintendo definitely understands the fun factor.  I'll probably buy a Wii.

However, I'm not impressed with the graphic performance of Wii.  Most of the footage in the Wii promotional videos are cinematics, not real time in-game play.  PS3 is going to have games that look almost as good as Wii cinematics (wavy hair etc., high detail action).  The Unreal engine on PS3 is going to blow peoples minds.  We are going to experience a level of realism never seen before, even on home PC's.  I'm very excited about PS3. And yes I'm looking forward to blu-ray on my HD setup. (drooling with a crazy wide eyed stare)

You must be rich.  $599 version I'm betting.

Well, I own a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Tiburon, both loaded.  My HD setup is a BenQ HD2+ DLP projector, not a plasma.  I don't consider myself rich, just comfortable.  My wife does allow me to spend a few thousand a year on gaming paraphernalia and Fry's whatnot . . . if I'm a good boy (37).

 thats cool, wish my parents would give me money to spend on games but looks like between my pokemon cards (yes i am 15, but ive always enjoyed the pkmn tcg cuz it was always so much simplier to get people into then yu gi oh or magic, yet can still be challenging) (then again about 400 something cards for about $50 w/o shipping is pretty good espicially when im guranteed about 53 rares) and anything else, im gunna have to save up for my Wii hopefully getting help from my sis
